Unlocking the Power of Interactive Storytelling

This workshop series empowers K-12 teachers to enhance the use of storytelling in their classrooms. Starting with the fundamentals of inclusive storytelling, which is structured by creating multiple entryways into the art of telling a story.  Each session dives into subject-specific strategies for math, science, language arts, and social studies. Using storytelling resources from APLC and ArcGIS Story Maps, we will explore how to craft engaging, interactive stories that integrate maps, multimedia, and narrative to enhance student understanding across subjects. Whether you're a seasoned tech user or a beginner, this series equips you with the tools and resources to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in your classroom for all learners.
