Learning Opportunities

When implementing phonics instruction, there are many suggestions for programs, but how do you know what sequences and strategies are best for your particular class? Dr. Deborah Karrah can share with you the current research as well as the practices she personally uses with struggling readers to scaffold reading instruction. We strongly recommend that teachers and educational assistants who work together in classrooms attend these sessions together to coordinate your efforts to support students who need the most help.
