Trevor Aleo
Trevor is currently an educational consultant and member of the English faculty at Greenwich Country Day School in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is an experienced professional learning facilitator who’s conducted workshops at public, private, and international schools in North America and worldwide. Trevor recently co-authored the best-selling book “Learning that Transfers: Designing Curriculum for a Changing World” and has published articles on critical, multimodal, and literary literacies in various edited volumes and academic journals, including English Journal and the National Council of Teachers of English’s Critical Media Literacy Special Issue.
In addition to his K-12 teaching experience, Trevor is pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Learning Design and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He’s passionate about leveraging the latest research to design meaningful professional learning experiences for fellow teachers.
