Learning Opportunities

Joanne has been a member of the field of Early Childhood Education for 38 years. For many years she was an Instructor at Lethbridge College in the Early Childhood Education program.  Before, and during this time, Joanne was involved with group and family child care programs, kindergarten programs, pre-school programs and out-of-school programs.

Joanne was involved with the pilot project of Play, Participation and Possibilities: An Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework for Alberta.

Currently Joanne works with ARCQE (Alberta Resource Centre for Quality Enhancement), and MRU as a Pedagogical Leader and Partner in supporting programs as they begin to implement Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework.
