This interactive webinar will offer you the opportunity to unpack this competency, as well as provide you, as educational leader in your school or district, support and resources for creating meaningful and practical plans to address this competency. You will have the opportunity to:

  • reflect on your school or district’s readiness for creating awareness, understanding and application of Indigenous foundational knowledge;
  • learn about the key elements of an effective implementation plan, as well as planning tools that may assist you in designing your plan to create awareness, understanding and application of Indigenous Foundational Knowledge;
  • view sample plans created by Alberta principals, that address this competency;
  • learn about Indigenous resources to support the creation and implementation of your plan.
