Learning Opportunities

Karen has thirty years of STEM teaching experience in rural Alberta. For about fifteen years, Karen has used Gizmos to challenge and engage her students in their learning. She has observed firsthand the power of online simulations for teaching abstract concepts and developing critical thinking skills. Karen believes that every student can achieve high levels of success in their learning when it is authentic and meaningful to them. Karen Blumhagen is in her first year with ExploreLearning and currently she serves as an Implementation Coordinator for the province of Alberta.
